Red chopping boards are used for cutting raw meat including beef, pork, and chicken. Using only a red chopping board for raw meat will ensure the maintenance of hygiene in the kitchen, and prevent cross-contamination.
Made in Britain. Aplas plastic chopping boards are manufactured in our workshop from industrial grade polyethylene. They are flat, rigid, hardwearing and of course foodsafe and will far outlast similar looking LDPE boards.
Made from the same grade of material used by meat and poultry processors they will withstand serious chopping on a daily basis. And unlike the imports, they will not warp in the dishwasher.
Add the option of a juice groove to your board from as little as £1, simply tick the box when placing your order.
As with all our boards, we can custom make to any size to suit your requirements.

What is A Red Chopping Board Used For?
Red chopping boards are used for the preparation of raw meat in commercial and domestic kitchens to reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination between food types. Categorising your chopping boards based on colours can create an association between the colour of your board and the food type you should prepare with it.
